A Study of Seasonality Based Trading Strategy for Indian Stocks and Indices
Abstract: A curious seasonality reported in finance is the monthly effect which implies that the mean daily return for stock is positive and higher during the first half of the month than the second half. Another related anomaly is the turn of the month effect which is said to exist when the average daily return at the turn of the month is significantly higher than the daily return on the remaining days of the month. This paper examines seasonality effect in Indian Stocks and Indices by calendar day approach, day of week approach and week of the month approach. The results of all the approaches reveal significantly higher returns on some of the days and period in a month. The day of the week effect is found to be absent in our study. Various explanations for the observed anomalies have been considered based on past studies, but none could provide adequate explanations for the observed return regularities. The introduction of derivatives segment in India may have created a pattern near expiry. However, based on the findings, the study tries to evolve certain trading strategies which could benefit in the decision making of the investors concerned with timing of the stock market.

Comparative Analysis of Multilevel Inverter and its PWM Schemes
Abstract: Inverter is the device that will convert DC voltage into AC voltage by switching the DC input voltage in preset sequence so that generate AC voltage. A very simple inverter can give output of two or three voltage level depending on the switching mechanism used. Multilevel inverters are broadly use in electric utility and many industrial applications. Multilevel inverter offers multiple voltage level that looks nearly a sinusoidal wave in staircase shape. Multilevel inverter offers great advantages over traditional inverter such as increasing power quality with reduce harmonics content. Numerous multilevel inverters have developed such as diode clamped multilevel inverter, flying capacitor multilevel inverter and cascaded H-bridge inverter.

A Review of Automatic Switching by Using PLC System
Abstract: The supply of electricity for industrial, commercial and domestic use is highly unstable. This gives rise to the frequent use of alternative sources of power supply to meet up with the energy demands. The introduction of these alternative sources of supply brings forth the challenge of switching smoothly and timely between the mains supply and the alternative sources whenever there is a failure on the mains source. This paper presents design and implementation of automatic switching circuits which is used in PLC automation for constructing a workable automatic change-over switch with generator starting/shut down functions. This switch turns ON the generator automatically in cases of mains power failure and connects the load to the generator output, alternatively it switches OFF the generator automatically once power is restored and returns the load to the mains power with the help of desired range of parameters which may be set by programmer.

A Review on Clustering in Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks Model
Abstract: Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) comprises of sensor nodes with distinctive capability, for example, diverse computing power and sensing range. Contrasted with homogeneous WSN, arrangement and topology control are more perplexing in heterogeneous WSN. Distinctive energy efficient clustering protocols for wireless sensor networks systems and thinks about these protocols on a few focuses, in the same way as clustering method, location awareness, heterogeneity level and clustering attributes. Though, each protocol is not appropriate for heterogeneous WSNs. In this paper, we review about process of clustering in heterogeneous wireless sensor networks model.

A REVIEW ON ULTRA LOW VOLTAGE LOW NOISE AMPLIFIER USING ACTIVE INDUCTOR FOR ULTRA WIDEBAND APPLICATION
Abstract: During this paper we tend to discuss a unique design of CMOS low noise electronic equipment (LNA) for the applying of low voltage RF circuit employed in radical wide band application. we tend to addressing a replacement methodology to optimize the circuit parameter like power potency, noise figure (NF) and improved methodology of input and output matching. Comparison among the LNA square measure drained terms of gain, noise figure, linearity, stability and style strategy of electrical device. This paper offers the thought to the longer term analysis to style higher LNA in terms of low power consumption, stability and higher vary of frequency of operation.

Survey of Email Spam Analysis System
Abstract: E-mail is an effective tool for communication as it saves a lot of time and cost. But e-mails are also affected by attacks which include Spam Mails. The problem of email spam has become so popular and wide spread that it has been the subject of a Data Mining Cup contest as well as numerous class projects. Hence in this paper we have presented the problem of email spam, how spams are dangerous and ways of preventing or avoiding it. We have also covered the importance of classification using datasets and clustering along with the description of the spam filters. The criteria and the need for detecting spam mails have been elaborated in this paper. A survey of email spam analysis which includes email spam detection and correction is made.

“JPEG-A Compression Tool” Implemented In MATLAB
Abstract: The goal of image compression is to reduce the amount of data required to represent a image and doing this it reduce time for sending an image. The best tool for the image compression is”JPEG”. It yields an excellent quality image with high compression rates. Its Stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group. It’s used with .jpg,. .tiff and .eps file format. It can be used in 24-bit color images. It can be used in satellite, photography, medical forensics and many more applications.
