Plagiarism Policy

At the International Journal of Digital Application & Contemporary Research (IJDACR), we uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. To ensure ethical publishing practices, we have implemented a comprehensive plagiarism policy designed to maintain the credibility of our journal and protect intellectual property rights.

IJDACR is dedicated to publishing innovative research in engineering, science, and technology. Every manuscript undergoes a rigorous pre-review by the editorial team, followed by a blind peer-review process if deemed suitable. Submissions must be original and unpublished, with proper use of grammar and technical terminology.

What Constitutes Plagiarism?

Plagiarism is defined as using another person’s work or ideas without proper attribution. This includes any uncredited wording, ideas, or content not authored by the individual submitting the paper. Plagiarism is both unethical and a violation of intellectual property rights, and IJDACR has zero tolerance for such practices.

Plagiarism Detection and Screening?

To maintain the integrity of our publication process, all submissions are screened using industry-standard plagiarism detection tools, including SmallSEOTools, VIPER, and Plagiarism Detector. These tools are widely trusted by universities and professional organizations globally.

  1. Threshold for Acceptance: Manuscripts with less than 10% plagiarized content are allowed to proceed to the next stage of the review process.
  2. Rejection Policy: Papers exceeding the 10% plagiarism threshold are immediately rejected. The author will receive a detailed plagiarism report, along with a formal notice regarding the violation.

Key Procedures

  • Initial Check: Plagiarism detection is the first step in the review process. Submissions failing this check will not be forwarded for peer review.
  • Accepted Tools: Only the software authorized by IJDACR will be used for plagiarism evaluation. Results from other tools will not be considered valid.

Penalties for Plagiarism

IJDACR enforces strict penalties for plagiarism to preserve the journal's credibility:

  1. First Offense: A one-year suspension from the publication process, along with the revocation of the individual’s IJDACR certification application. Reapplication will require submission of a new application and fees after the suspension period.
  2. Second Offense: Permanent disqualification from all IJDACR certification programs. Cases of repeated violations may also lead to further sanctions, including the revocation of existing IJDACR certifications.

Appeals Process

If an author believes that the plagiarism detection was incorrect or that the flagged content belongs to them, they may contest the decision within 14 days. Authors must provide evidence, such as documentation or affidavits, to establish their authorship.

Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation

For detailed instructions on how to prepare your manuscript, refer to the “Manuscript Preparation Guidelines” document provided by the IJDACR Technical Board. Adhering to these guidelines will help streamline the review process and ensure compliance with our standards.

By adhering to this policy, we aim to foster an environment of trust and uphold the principles of ethical publishing. We look forward to supporting researchers in presenting their work to a global audience while maintaining the integrity of academic scholarship.
