A Review on Congestion Control over Mobile Ad-Hoc Network
Abstract: Mobile Ad-Hoc network is a type of Ad-Hoc network that can change locations and configure itself on the fly. MANETs uses self-configurable connections to connect various nodes. There are a number of issues and challenges in a mobile Ad-Hoc network. Congestion Control is an advanced area in research and new development in mobile Ad-Hoc network. Congestion occurs when resources are limited and demand is more.

Effective Approach of Palmprint Recognition using PCA, DWT and Neural Network
Abstract: Palmprint is an important counterpart and reliable biometric that can be used for identity verification because it is stable and unique for every individual. The procedure of implementation is divided into two phases, training phase and testing phase. In training phase there are three sub processes; pre-processing, feature extraction and feature matching. Pre-processing is done with the help of image resizing and RGB to Gray conversion. For feature extraction, we have used Gabor Filter and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT).

A Comparative Analysis of Power System Stability in SMIB using GA and PSO
Abstract: As the most economical damping controller, power system stabilizer (PSS) has been widely used to suppress the low frequency oscillation and enhance the system dynamic stability. Traditional methods for determining PSS placements are based on the analysis of the interconnected system. Though, the design of the PSS is based on a simplified single machine infinite bus (SMIB) model. Traditional methods for determining PSS placements are based on the analysis of the interconnected system.

Neural Network Based Query Image Extraction using Shape, Color and Texture Features
Abstract: Content-based image retrieval (CBIR) is the application of computer vision to the image retrieval problem, that is, the problem of searching for digital images in large databases. Most of the existing image retrieval systems give lesser accuracy while using different features individually. Therefore, in this paper, we develop a framework using extraction of color, texture and shape features along with Neural Network Classifier to classify the extracted features.

Side View Face Authentication using DWT and Neural Network
Abstract: This paper provides a side-view face authentication method focused around discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and Neural Network. A subset determination strategy that expands the quantity of training samples and permits subsets to protect the global information is exhibited. The authentication technique could be summarized to have the accompanying steps: feature extraction, wavelet decomposition, subset splitting and Neural Network verification.

A Novel Approach of Palmprint Recognition using PCA, DWT and Random Forest Classifier
Abstract: Palmprint recognition being one of the important aspects of biometric technology is one of the most reliable and successful identification methods. Palmprint is an important complement and reliable biometric that can be used for identity verification because it is stable and unique for every individual. This paper is divided into two phases, training phase and testing phase. In training phase there are four sub processes; pre-processing, feature extraction and dimensionality reduction. Pre-processing is done with the help of image resizing and RGB to Gray conversion. For feature extraction, we have used Gabor Filter and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). Principal Component analysis (PCA) is used for dimensionality reduction. The extracted features are then stored in database. In the testing phase the same process is done up to the PCA and then the similarity measure with database is done. Random Forest Classifier is used for similarity measure. The MATLAB image processing tool box is used to implement proposed Palmprint recognition system.
